We're not here to drown you in jargon. We're here to bring clarity, edge, and a healthy dose of "wait, they really did that?" energy to your inbox.

Who's "we"?
We're Superagent, the first real-time AI sales assistant built specifically for insurance. Led by Milan Veskovic, Vlada Lotkina, and Vadym Shashkov, we’re shaping the future of insurance - where agents thrive, leaders grow, and innovation actually works in the real world (not just the pitch deck).

Milan scaled a $3B insurance sales org and still thinks onboarding agents should be less painful than a dental visit. Vlada is a serial founder and exited SaaS CEO who scaled a 5M+ user platform in edtech. Vadym’s a tech wizard who has transformed multiple enterprises, building smart technology since before most of us even heard of ChatGPT.

Thanks for joining us on this wild ride. Let's get into it.

Headline Mayhem

  • Lemonade... spilled
After years of bullish PR and AI-powered storytelling, Lemonade insiders are starting to cash out. SoftBank just sold $98 million in shares. Timing or red flag? Either way, it’s a shift worth watching. 🍋We’re calling it: Lemonade Standgate 2025. 🍋💻

  • Banks are the new VC bros (without the exit plans)
Big banks are dropping billions on AI… and it's paying off. About half report a positive return on AI investments for employee efficiency. Still, questions remain about the long-term value and strategic implementation.

Things That Make You Go What?

  • Geico laid off 2,000 people… and doubled down on ads
More lizards, fewer humans. Let’s call it “strategic realignment.”

  • State Farm’s newest adjusters are... cameras
AI is handling claims now, and you won’t find out until it denies you for “low pixel resolution.”

  • Florida: Roof selfies determine your coverage
Homeowners must now submit photos and inspections to renew. New underwriting frontier or homeowner CrossFit?

  • Zurich’s dabble with Ominimo
Zurich took a minority stake in Hungarian startup Ominimo. Sounds fancy. We’ll be keeping an eye on this one... through binoculars. From afar.

Building SUPERAGENT In Public, Onboarding Our First Design Partners

We’re thrilled to announce we’ve onboarded our first design partners—agencies and carriers who are helping us shape Superagent from the ground up.

This update is meaningful for two reasons.

First, it unlocks a real-world feedback loop. These are operators in the trenches who know what’s broken in onboarding, quoting, and sales—and we’re building alongside them, not just for them.

Second, it validates our product-led approach. We're building something agents can actually use today, without waiting for a full rip-and-replace. That’s huge in an industry where implementation cycles are longer than most startup lifespans.

We’re obsessively focused on ramping agent productivity, not adding another tab they’ll ignore.

And this early validation from partners who’ve seen dozens of tools come and go? It tells us we’re onto something. We’ll be sure to keep the community in the loop.

Calendar - So You Don't Miss the Future/Fun/Useful Stuff

🔜 In the Back Half of May and June

💬 Heard something that made you say Whaat this week?
Send it our way. Or just send memes. We appreciate both.

You're now officially in the loop. We'll be back soon with more headlines, hot takes, and behind-the-scenes drama (the productive kind).

Until then… keep questioning, keep building, and keep believing the future of insurance is actually awesome.

Yours in disruption (and decently good taste),

— Milan, Vlada & Vadym
